EOTD with Chequered Lily, Darling Girl, and Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

I purchased this.
PR samples.

We had professional photos taken at work this week. I wanted a look that had a bit of color, but that was done in a way to look both professional and pretty. The photographer complimented me on my eye makeup, so hopefully that means I succeeded, although I can see now that I should have trimmed my crazy eyebrows first! This is what I ended up with.

EOTD: Fyrinnae Rapunzel Had Extensions, Peppermint Vodka, Wicked, Montlivet, & Sled Puppies

I purchased this.

On Sunday, I had brunch with a friend I hadn't seen in months. We went my favorite place around for brunch, The Huckleberry. If you're ever in the Boulder/Denver area in Colorado, definitely go to The Huckleberry and try their mixed berry crepes.

This is the look I wore on Sunday for brunch. I love wearing colors like this because they really emphasize the blue in my eyes. It looked much prettier in the person, as Rapunzel Had Extensions flashed its duochrome in the sunlight.

EOTD: Silk Naturals Dolce, Cozy, Moonstone, and Chiffon

This was a gift.

A while back, a good friend of mine gifted me with about 70 Silk Naturals eye shadows, and I've very slowly been working my way through trying them out. There is absolutely nothing I don't love about Silk Naturals. Everything I've used from them--whether it's eye shadow, lip products, skin care, or hair care--is really excellent product.

I wore this neutral look to work the other day, using four of the eye shadows that I hadn't tested out yet. I'm really in love with Dolce. It's such a nice, shimmery "greige" color.

WHAT I USED:
Urban Decay Primer Potion all around eye area
Darling Girl Glitter Glue all around eye area
Too Faced White Chocolate on brow bone
Silk Naturals:
  - Cozy on outer corner of lid, blended into crease, and outer 1/3 of lower lash line

  - Chiffon around tear duct area

EOTD: St. Patty's Look with Fyrinnae

I purchased this.

I don't particularly like the color green--green clothes, green makeup, green decor, green anything. I do love green in nature, but that's about it. I'll still wear green eyeshadow sometimes to change things up, but I only wear green clothing once a year, and that's on St. Patrick's Day--the day when everyone is Irish!

This is the green eyeshadow look I wore yesterday. I don't wear green well, so I like to tone it down and warm it up with browns and golds. I had quite a few people tell me that I should wear green more often and that it looks good with my hair color, but I still disagree.

I haven't posted a full-face photo in ages, so I took one yesterday. I like the far-away pictures better--you can't see the mistakes in my eye makeup as clearly!

Did you do anything special to celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

I found this look in my blog "drafts" folder. I'm not sure why I never posted it. Back when I did this look, it was the dead of winter with sub-zero temperatures. I wanted to do a look that was more summery and the opposite of the dreary weather we'd been having, so I pulled out some of my brightest MAC eye shadows that I hadn't touched in a long time.

I purchased this.

I haven't blogged in a couple of weeks. My day job has been kicking my butt! One of my coworkers went to London a couple of weeks ago, so I sent him with some money and a shopping list. This time, I had him pick up the Sleek Garden of Eden eye shadow palette. It is even prettier in real life than I thought! This is the first look I did with the palette, and it wore like iron all day long. I love Sleek's eye shadows--they may be a drugstore product, but they're great quality, and blend like a dream.
